Harley's TLC Kennels and Pet Sitting
Harley's TLC Kennels and Pet Sitting is a full service at home pet sitting service. The kennels have 12 interior rooms and 5 outdoor runs including a bull pen area in the front and back for safety, and our dogs are always leashed. Pickup and delivery, grooming, insurance sales services, training referral service and knowledgeable -experienced -professionals that consider all critters family with 7 babies living in the main residence. The dogs have 24/7 ONSIGHT supervision + 3 "outsides" per day. All animals are separated based on size and temperament and grouped accordingly during "outsides" if possible or privately if necessary. Harley's Story
In February 2011, we lost a most important member of our family. Harley. He was a remarkable creature with a sense of himself rare in other canines. Though he had no physical abnormalities, no medical issues to be constantly addressed he was a special needs dog. You see Harley's first year of life was spent as a bait dog. That is a dog of mixed fighting pedigree that was expected to fight just well enough before he died to teach a true fighting Pit how to fight and to give it a taste of blood.
For the greater part of his life, we struggled with and guarded against this conditioning. Because of the added attention we gave him, we learned so much. We learned that dogs and humans aren't so different after all. We both want to please those who love us.
Though we'd both been pet "owners" and fans all our lives, our efforts with Harley transformed our view of pets from possessions to companions. They are our friends, family members, protectors and sometimes real pains in our butts, but they are always a part of our considerations, no matter what we do.
From boarding to in home care, Harley's TLC services provides the same care and devotion to our charges as we provided Harley, and we expect we will receive the same rewards in return.
